How to clear cache and cookies in different browsers
If you’re an everyday internet user or an IT professional, you may have encountered situations where your browser keeps serving cached elements even if the page has changed or new code has been deployed. This can cause errors or cause you to see outdated content. In these situations, clearing your browser’s cache and cookies can be a quick fix and can help you troubleshoot the issue before reaching out to your organization’s support team.

On Chrome
Click on the three vertical dots in the top-right corner
Click on History
Click on Clear browsing data on the left sidebar
In the popup, select a “time range” and the options Cookies and Other site data and Cached Images and files.
Click on Clear data

On Microsoft Edge
Click on the three horizontal dots in the top-right corner
Click on Settings
Under the Clear browsing data option, click on Choose what to clear
Select the checkbox Cookies and saved website data and Cached data and files
Click on the Clear button

On Firefox
Click on the three vertical lines in the top-right corner
Click on Library and then History
Click on Clear Recent History
Select a “time range” and the options Cookies, Cache, etc.
Click on Clear Now

On Safari
On the keyboard, press Command + Y
Click on Clear browser history.
In the popup that appears, select the time range and click on Clear History.

On Safari iPhone
To clear your history and cookies, go to Settings > Safari, and tap Clear History and Website Data. Removing your history, cookies, and browsing data from Safari won’t change your Autofill information.
To clear your cookies and keep your history, go to Settings > Safari > Advanced > Website Data, then tap Remove All Website Data.
